History

The name Lobo à Serra was the nickname that the villagers gave to the current owner’s grandfather. In his honour, the owner decided to give it his namesake. The current house is the result of the reconstruction and expansion of the old house..

The oldest record of the house dates from 1938, and it has not been possible to locate documents proving the date of when it was first built. The entirety of the old house was demolished with the exception of the shale wine press, built by the current owner's ancestors. The new walls retain the original stone, which has been reused in the new construction, preserving the shape of the original house.

Both the rebuilt and expanded parts are designed to provide maximum comfort and functionality to make you feel at home.
